1) How do you provide tutoring?

We offer two methods for tutoring: Email Help and Live Help.

With Email Help if you are stuck on a problem, simply login and post the question. We will respond immediately with a full solution including tips so that you will be able to answer similar type problems on your own.

Alternatively, if you are struggling with certain mathematical concepts, we offer Live Help with which you can connect to one of our tutors for a chat session. Using Microsoft NetMeeting (which is free to download) our tutor will provide you with live one-on-one instruction.

2) What grade levels do you tutor?

We can help all students in grades 4 through college.

3) I live outside North America. Could I still sign up?

Absolutely! As long as you are comfortable with English, you will benefit from our tutoring.

4) What are the hours of your service?

We offer Email Help and Live Help Round the clock.

5) Who are the tutors? What are their qualifications?

Our tutors are college graduate students, elementary and high school teachers, and college professors. We require that all tutors hold at least a Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Physics, or Statistics and have some teaching or tutoring experience. Additionally, they have completed a background check and have taken part in our training program.

6) What are the system requirements?

For Email Help all you need is a computer with an internet connection so that you can login to our website and post a question.

For Live Help and for using our White Board Technology you will need to have Java Installed in your computer.

7) How can I add funds to my Anytime Tutor account?

We accept checks and all major credit cards via PayPal. You don’t need to have a PayPal account to add funds. We also accept Canadian Dollar, Euro, Pound Sterling and Yen payments. A $5 minimum is required for each deposit.

8) I am under 13 years of age. Can I open an account?

In compliance with COPPA, Anytime Tutor requires all account holders to be 13 years of age or older. Please ask a parent or guardian to open an account on your behalf.

9) If I am not happy with your service, could I receive a refund?

We back our service with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. This means that if you are not satisfied with our service in any way, we will give you a full refund.
